PYROTEC Profitherm HS Kiln in 10 variants with PY1 or TC66 control

The PROFITHERM HS series from PYROTEC is the high-performance, high-temperature range for intensive and large-volume firing processes. It was specifically developed for professional studios, schools, and production facilities that wish to fire large quantities or large-format workpieces at temperatures up to 1320 °C. The robust construction, large capacity, and precise control technology guarantee uniform firing results with maximum reliability.

Like all PYROTEC kilns, the models of the HS series are manufactured according to the latest safety standards, supplied with a CE declaration of conformity, and offer a 36-month manufacturer's warranty (excluding heating coils and thermocouples).

How do the three PYROTEC series STUDIO, PROFITHERM, and PROFITHERM HS differ?

The STUDIO series is the more affordable entry-level model for hobby potters and is ideal if you are looking for a solid top-loader with a maximum firing temperature of up to 1260 °C (depending on the model). The PROFITHERM series is the higher-performance range for higher temperatures up to 1320 °C (depending on the model). The PROFITHERM HS models additionally feature a convenient hinged lid with gas struts, which makes opening and closing significantly easier, especially for larger kilns. Consequently, the PROFITHERM HS models are geared more towards professional studios and larger institutions.

Optional accessories:

  • The PY1 controller is manufactured by Pyrotec itself and is a modern compact controller for ceramic kilns that enables precise and reproducible firing processes. The firing curve includes heating up, end temperature, hold time, and natural cooling. Five preset programs can be individually adjusted and permanently saved. The controller has a key lock to prevent mishaps.
    
    
  • The TC66 controller from the manufacturer Bentrup is a modern compact control system with a completely freely adjustable firing curve. It allows for a start delay as well as linear heating in two stages up to the desired end temperature, followed by a hold and controlled cooling. Additionally, there are six preset programs available that can be individually adjusted.

As a special feature for our Formwerk Berlin customers, we offer the option to purchase the kiln without a controller at a reduced price. This makes sense for advanced potters as well as studios that already have a control system. To do this, simply select the "Without controller" option in the menu above.
