PYROTEC Oven Plate Sets
The PYROTEC kiln plate sets were specially developed for the PY and ST series kilns and consist of high-quality mounting plates and robust stacking supports. They allow for the construction of multiple levels in the kiln, thus ensuring optimal utilization of the firing chamber.
Each set is precisely tailored to the respective kiln model and contains the appropriate number of kiln plates and stacking supports. This allows ceramic pieces to be placed securely and fired evenly – ideal for efficient kiln loading.
Dimensions
The oven plates are available in various sizes from Ø 35 to 62 cm and are each tailored to the appropriate PYROTEC oven model.
Each set contains two types of stacking supports:
- Long supports: Ø 45 mm × height 45 mm (e.g. 21 pieces in smaller sets)
- Short supports: Ø 45 mm × height 23 mm (e.g. 6 pieces for intermediate levels)
In the specification "21/6 stacking supports", the first number refers to the long supports, the second number to the short ones.
The combination of both support types allows for flexible stacking heights and stable multiple kiln loads. Halved plates also facilitate insertion into smaller kilns and offer greater flexibility during setup.
