Lightweight cast wheel head for Shimpo pottery wheels: replacement and retrofit
Two versions to choose from: as a pure 1:1 replacement wheel head (identical to the original, without pins) in case of breakage or wear, or with pins and MDF bat to retrofit a bat system on a wheel you already own.
Without pins: pure replacement wheel head
Precisely fitting replacement wheel head made of lightweight cast metal, identical to the factory original. Ideal if your existing wheel head is damaged or you simply need a second one.
With pins and MDF bat: retrofit
For Shimpo pottery wheels you already own: You already have your Whisper T, RK 55, RK 3D or RK 3E at home and want to upgrade it with a bat system? This version lets you do that without a factory retrofit or buying a new wheel. A complete replacement wheel head made of lightweight cast metal with factory fitted pins (255 mm hole spacing, Shimpo standard) and a removable MDF bat. You simply swap the existing smooth wheel head of your pottery wheel for this one with pins. No drilling, no workshop visit. Afterwards, our bat system and other bat systems with a 255 mm or 254 mm hole pattern can be mounted without any problems.

Fits
The 300 mm version fits the Shimpo Whisper T, RK 55 and RK 3D (all with Ø 300 mm wheel head). The 350 mm version fits the RK 3E (Ø 350 mm wheel head). Once the "With pins" version is fitted, you can mount our bat system directly.
