KITTEC ECO Top-loading Kilns in 8 Variants with TC66 / TC507 Controller

The top-loading kilns of the KITTEC ECO series are aimed at potters looking for a robust and economical entry into electric kiln technology. The model range covers a volume spectrum from 68 to 203 liters, making them suitable for small workshops as well as regularly operating studios. All ECO models reach a maximum firing temperature of 1320 °C, making them suitable for most ceramic firing processes up to stoneware and porcelain. All models operate with a 400 V three-phase power connection (2N~ or 3N~). Characteristic features of the ECO series include the reversible underframe for two possible working heights, the powder-coated underframes available in one of five colors, gas spring support for easy lid opening, and stainless steel clamps.

How do the KITTEC ECO models within the series differ?

To facilitate the choice of the right model, we have summarized the differences in a practical way:

• ECO 70 S and ECO 80 S: The compact entry-level models with 400 V 2N~ connection and 5.6 kW power. Ideal for smaller firing quantities and confined spaces.
• ECO 95 S to ECO 125 S: The medium models with 400 V 3N~ connection and 7–8.2 kW power. A good choice for regular firing in the studio.
• ECO 150 S to ECO 205 S: The large-volume models with 10.8–12 kW power for larger firing loads and more frequent work.

• Air inlet bottom slide: Regulates the kiln atmosphere and improves oxygen supply.
• Peephole with plug: Observe the firing process without opening – ideal for glaze control.
• Lid support: For faster cooling.
• Lid heating: Additional top heat, stepless lid/side ratio (model-dependent).
• Bottom heating: More uniform bottom heat for dense/heavy firing loads (model-dependent).

The kilns come with up to a 3-year warranty, excluding, as usual, the heating coils.

Electronic Controllers & Special Mold Feature:

The basic equipment includes the TC66. This controller is very well suited for typical ceramic firing curves and allows setting the preheating time, controlled heating, final temperature, holding time, and controlled cooling. Six programs can be individually customized and stored.

For those who desire additional convenience, the kiln can be chosen with TC75 WU or TC95 WU. Both controllers also offer WiFi and data logging. For more demanding firing programs and extended control functions, TC505, TC705, and TC707 are also available. The TC505 is particularly suitable for freely programmable firing profiles, while TC705 and TC707 also offer documentation functions. The TC707 additionally offers WiFi and data logging. On request, the kiln is also available without a controller if a suitable controller is already available.
