Kittec lid heating – infinitely adjustable auxiliary heating for ceramics & glass
The Kittec lid heating is an intelligent additional option for many Classic-Line and Professional-Line top-loading kilns. It allows for an infinitely adjustable combination of side and top heat – ideal if you want to fire both ceramics and glass.
The circuit for this lid heating is not simply a switch for "lid heating off" or "side heating off," but an infinitely variable controller that allows the ratio of lid to side heating to be set by percentage. This allows you to adapt the heat distribution individually to the items being fired. It couldn't be more convenient!
With this feature, you turn your kiln into a true combination kiln that is suitable for both glass and ceramic firings. You benefit from perfect top heat, homogeneous temperature distribution, and maximum control.
