Our pottery classes
In collaboration with artist Lara Marie Kainz (@Lamaka Keramik), we regularly offer pottery courses in Berlin – for beginners, advanced students, children, and families.
It’s not about the perfect result, but the process: feeling the material, experimenting, and switching off. An analog balance to everyday digital life – in a relaxed atmosphere and without any pressure.

Course details
Parent-Child Portrait Workshop

Discover the traditional Nerikomi technique together with your child in this family-friendly workshop in Berlin. Using colored clay masses, you will create vibrant patterns that are incorporated directly into the clay. The course is designed for children aged 6 and up with an accompanying adult and invites you to get hands-on and create something unique together.
Process: The workshop lasts approximately two hours and takes place in Prenzlauer Berg. No prior knowledge is required – all materials will be provided.
Instructor: This workshop is organized and led in collaboration with Lara Marie Kainz (@lamaka_keramik). She is happy to answer any questions you may have in advance.
Course fee: €75 per child including one accompanying adult

Special Nerikomi Workshop

In this workshop, immerse yourself in the fascinating Nerikomi technique and create your own ceramic plate with a completely unique pattern. Using a rolling pin, differently pigmented clay is applied to a base plate in patterns and then shaped into a plate – a meditative process with an artistic result.
Procedure: The workshop lasts approx. 3 hours and takes place in Prenzlauer Berg. No prior knowledge is required – all materials are provided.
Instructor: This workshop is organized and led in collaboration with Lara Marie Kainz (@lamaka_keramik). She is happy to answer any questions you may have in advance.

Nerikomi Workshop

Discover the fascinating Nerikomi technique in this workshop and create ceramics with your very own unique patterns. Differently pigmented clay is applied in patterns onto a base slab using a rolling pin and then shaped – a playful process where color and clay transform into small works of art.
Procedure: The workshop lasts approx. 3 hours and takes place in Prenzlauer Berg. No prior experience is required – all materials are provided.
