Online Shop Support (m/f/d) in E-Commerce and Marketing

You are familiar with online shops, have a flair for marketing, and know exactly what is meant by the word stoneware glaze? Then you will be a great fit for us.
Formwerk is a pottery supply store from Berlin. We supply hobby ceramicists, studios, and course providers with everything from glazes to kilns. We are looking for reinforcements to help us further develop our shop.
Your Tasks
- Managing and further developing our online shop: product listings, product range, and order processing
- Marketing via SEO, newsletters, social media, and content
- Handling customer inquiries and providing advice on materials and techniques
- Maintaining our relationships with studios and partners
Your Profile
- Connection to pottery or a well-founded interest in the craft
- Experience in e-commerce and online marketing, ideally with Shopify
- Independent, reliable way of working and enjoyment of varied tasks
- Very good German language skills for content and customer communication

Store Manager (m/f/d) for our new pottery supply store in Berlin

Do you want to help shape a shop from the very beginning and do you know how to delight customers? Then we are looking for exactly you.
Formwerk is a young pottery supply company from Berlin. In 2027, we are opening our physical store and are looking for someone to lead it from day one: from setting it up to sales and day-to-day operations.
Your Tasks
- Setting up and managing our new store in Berlin, from interior design to the grand opening
- Responsibility for sales, consulting, and an all-around excellent customer experience
- Visual merchandising, ordering, and on-site inventory management
- Cash register operations and daily store routines
- Close cooperation with our online team and, as the team grows, training and leading temporary staff
Your Profile
- Experience in retail
- A connection to pottery or a genuine interest in the craft
- Enjoyment in consulting and direct contact with customers
- Independent, reliable, and well-organized way of working
- Very good command of German for consulting and sales

Kiln Technician and Repair Specialist (m/f/d) or Cooperation Partner
Formwerk Pottery Supplies Berlin · Employment, Freelance Work, or Business Partnership
Are you familiar with kilns and capable of installing, maintaining, and repairing them? We regularly receive inquiries regarding kiln installation and repair and are looking for someone to handle these tasks. Whether through permanent employment, as a freelance technician, or as an electrical contracting business partnering with us, we are open to all options.
Formwerk is a young pottery supply company based in Berlin. Among other things, we sell kilns from Nabertherm, Pyrotec, and Kittec, and in the future, we aim to offer our customers installation, maintenance, and repair services from a single source.
Your Tasks
- Installation and commissioning of kilns for studios, schools, and private customers
- Maintenance and repair, for example replacing heating elements, thermocouples, and controllers
- On-site fault diagnosis and preliminary assessment by phone
- If necessary, consulting on location, power connections, and ventilation
Your Profile
- Qualified electrician, for example, training as an electronics technician or electrical installer
- For permanent connection to the power grid, registration in the installer directory of the responsible grid operator is required, either personally or through a registered company
- Experience with kilns, industrial heating systems, or similar equipment
- Independent, reliable working style and a friendly, service-oriented manner when dealing with customers
- Mobility is required for on-site assignments, usually via a Class B driver's license
- Good German language skills for customer communication and documentation
