Nabertherm top-loading kilns are the right choice for anyone looking for reliable and energy-efficient firing for hobbies, workshops, schools, or kindergartens. Appealing design, low weight, and an impressive price-performance ratio meet the quality of a genuine manufacturing process. Each kiln is elaborately handcrafted in Germany. The energy-saving insulation structure made of light refractory bricks with high-quality back insulation reaches a maximum temperature of 1320 °C even with low connected loads, delivering uniform and excellent firing results.

Like all Nabertherm kilns, the top-loaders are manufactured according to the latest safety standards, supplied with a CE declaration of conformity, and come with a 36-month warranty.

Which Nabertherm kiln is right for you?

Nabertherm offers the right kiln for every requirement. For quick orientation, here is an overview of our product range:

• Top-loading kilns: the versatile classic for hobbies, workshops, and schools, 45 to 220 liters, up to 1320 °C. This is this product.
• Top-loading kilns with increased power rating: same as the top-loaders, but with more powerful heating elements for faster heating and frequent use. To the Top R Series
• Chamber kilns N Series: five-sided heating, 100 to 660 liters, up to 1340 °C, for workshops, studios, schools, and clinics. To the N Series
• Chamber kilns with pull-out drawer: same as the N Series, plus a comfortable, back-friendly pull-out for easier loading. To the NW Series

Which top-loader version suits you best?

Nabertherm offers top-loaders in several model series. The models shown here include the standard version as well as the L models and cover volumes from 45 to 220 liters. The 230 V models run on a standard household socket; the L models do so with reduced power consumption. The 400 V models require a high-voltage connection, which must be installed by an electrician.

If you require shorter heating times, alternative volume sizes, or consistently high operating temperatures—for instance, for frequent use—we recommend the Nabertherm top-loading models with increased power rating. Standard equipment features

• Heating elements protected in grooved bricks, all-around heating for uniform heat distribution
• Three-layer insulation structure made of light refractory bricks with energy-saving back insulation up to 60 liters, two-layer structure from Top 80 upwards
• Thermocouple installed protected in the kiln wall
• Lockable transport castors as standard for easy movement of the kiln
• Free of aluminum silicate wool (RCF). Nabertherm completely avoids insulation materials classified as potentially carcinogenic according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP)

AC590 Controller with Conny Cone Firing Assistant

Every top-loader comes standard with the modern Nabertherm AC590 controller. It is operated via a high-contrast touch display in up to 24 languages and shows exactly the information relevant at any given moment.

• Up to 50 freely programmable programs with 40 segments each
• Conny cone firing assistant for an especially easy start to your firing program
• Graphic display of temperature profiles and all firing data in plain text
• Solar mode for utilizing electricity from photovoltaic systems with and without storage

Delivery

All prices include packaging and transport insurance. Delivery is free to the curb (first possible unloading point). Installation and training at the site of use are available on request. If you order a new kiln, we can collect your old unit upon request.
