The KITTEC XR Professional-Line comprises electric front-loading kilns designed for the highest demands in professional, continuous use. This model series was developed for users looking for an exceptionally high-quality, long-lasting, and easily loadable front-loading kiln. With firing chamber sizes ranging from 103 to 1,053 liters, the XR series covers a broad spectrum – from a compact professional kiln to a high-volume kiln for intensive workshop operations.

Five-sided heating on the rear wall, sides, door, and floor ensures optimal temperature distribution throughout. KITTEC has deliberately designed the XR series with a furnace housing made entirely of stainless steel – not just on the side walls, but the entire housing including the frame. Additional rear ventilation optimizes insulation properties, and a stainless steel frame with an integrated perforated plate on top of the front loader provides extra stability.

All models reach temperatures up to 1,320 °C. The smaller models feature height-adjustable leg pairs for an ergonomic loading height; from the XR 1060 upwards, the base frame is permanently mounted. The standard equipment includes the TC 75 controller.

How do the KITTEC XR models differ within the series?

Within the XR series, the connected load increases from 8.5 kW for the compact XR 100 to 65 kW for the large-volume XR 1060. The smaller models XR 100 to XR 310 are suitable for studios and workshops with a regular but manageable firing volume. From the XR 380 onwards, capacity increases significantly – these models are designed for workshops and schools with high throughput or for very large workpieces. With a firing chamber of over 1,000 liters, the XR 1060 represents the upper limit of the series.

Depending on your requirements, the kiln can be equipped with further accessories. Optional accessories are not included as standard unless expressly stated in the selected version.

Optional accessories

• Peephole: Observe the firing progress without opening the kiln – ideal for glaze inspection.
• Leveling feet & Transport castors: For secure installation or flexible movement.
  
• Lid heating: Additional top heat, infinitely adjustable.
• Floor heating: More even bottom heat for dense or heavy kiln loads.
• Loading rack: Stainless steel frame for comfortable stacking of kiln shelves.

Electronic controllers

The base equipment comes with the TC 75. This controller is well-suited for typical ceramic firing curves and allows for the setting of start delay, controlled heating, end temperature, holding time, and controlled cooling.

For those who also require data logging, the kiln can be selected with a TC 95 (incl. WiFi and data logging). For more demanding firing programs, the TC 505, TC 705, and TC 707 are also available. Further controllers are available separately as independent spare parts.
