Kittec terminal clamp for heating elements
The Kittec terminal clamp connects a kiln's heating elements to the power supply. It is a small but important wear part: high temperatures and constant heating and cooling cycles can cause a clamp connection to loosen, oxidize or break over the years. The result is poor contact, and the kiln no longer reaches its final temperature or heats unevenly.
Before buying expensive new heating elements, it is therefore worth checking the connections. If only one clamp is faulty, replacing this spare part is often enough.

Good to know

Important installation notice
Kilns run on mains voltage, many models on three-phase power. Installation must only be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before any work, disconnect the kiln from the power supply and let it cool down completely. In Berlin, we are happy to put you in touch with an electrician we work with.
