BartelsRieger DUETTA replacement filters, pack of 4

Original replacement filters for the BartelsRieger DUETTA half mask. The filters attach with a bayonet connection, one filter on each side of the mask. A pack of 4 filters is therefore enough for two complete filter changes.

There are two filter types. For the vast majority of work in the ceramics studio, the P3 R particle filter is the right choice. The A2 P3 R combination filter is intended for anyone who also works with solvent based products.

Which filter is right?

• 203 P3 R particle filter: According to the manufacturer, designed for areas contaminated by dust and aerosols. P3 is the highest protection class for particle filters under EN 143. The right choice when mixing powdered glazes, sanding and cleaning the studio.
• 205 A2 P3 R combination filter: According to the manufacturer, designed for areas contaminated by dust and solvent vapors. It also filters organic gases and vapors with a boiling point above 65 °C. Useful if, besides dust, you also work with solvent based lusters, precious metal preparations or varnishes.

If you only work with clay and water based glazes, you do not need the combination filter.

Good to know

• The filters only fit the BartelsRieger DUETTA half mask.
• Always replace both filters at the same time and only combine filters of the same type.
• Replace particle filters as soon as breathing becomes noticeably harder or a filter is damaged.
• For combination filters, follow the information on service life in the instructions. The gas filter part can be exhausted before you notice it in the breathing resistance.

• The filters only protect in combination with a tightly fitting mask. Check function and fit before each use.
• For commercial use in Germany, DGUV Rule 112-190 and the employer's risk assessment apply.
• Do not use damaged filters.
• According to the manufacturer BartelsRieger, the right respiratory protection for glazes depends on the ingredients they actually contain. Always check the safety data sheet of the glaze you are using and choose your respiratory protection based on it.
