Amaco SM-02 Satin Matte Stone
Stone from Amaco's Satin Matte series is a satin-matte glaze in a dark taupe, as smooth as a weathered stone. It breaks slightly over edges and textures, thus accentuating the relief.
Amaco's Satin Matte glazes are pigment-based and fully intermixable, allowing for the creation of custom shades. Tones can be lightened with Clear Satin, darkened with Satin Black, or mixed with Satin White to create pastel colors. All glazes in the series feature the same soft satin finish.
Stone works well on its own as a calm, natural tone and is also suitable for mixing and layering with other Satin Matte glazes.

Application
- Apply to bisque fired at Cone 04
- Brushing glaze, apply with a brush
- For full coverage, apply 2 to 3 coats, allowing to dry between coats
- Intermixable; mix with Satin White for pastel tones or Clear Satin to lighten
- Shake well and stir thoroughly before use

- Firing range: approx. 1186 °C to 1222 °C (Cone 5 to 6)
