Kittec's Raku tongs are specially designed for use in Raku firing and allow for the safe removal of hot ceramic pieces from the kiln. Thanks to their robust materials and thoughtful design, pieces can be gripped precisely without damaging glazes or surfaces.
The pliers are available in two versions:
- Raku tongs, galvanized, with teeth: sturdy steel tongs with serrated gripping jaws for a firm hold on differently shaped vessels. Ideal for rough surfaces and heavy pieces.
- Raku tongs, stainless steel, with ring jaws for round vessels: high-quality design made of rustproof stainless steel, specifically for the secure gripping of round vessels. The ring jaws enclose the workpiece evenly and prevent pressure marks.

- Length: approx. 100 – 120 cm (depending on model)
- Handle: ergonomically shaped, non-slip
- Gripping area: serrated (galvanized) / ring-shaped (stainless steel)
- Heat-resistant and low-maintenance
