Raku Tongs – galvanized or stainless steel
Kittec Raku tongs are specially designed for use in Raku firing and allow for the safe removal of hot ceramic pieces from the kiln. Thanks to the robust materials and thoughtful design, workpieces can be gripped precisely without causing damage to glazes or surfaces.
The tongs are available in two versions:

Raku Tongs, galvanized, with teeth: sturdy steel tongs with serrated gripping jaws for a firm hold on differently shaped vessels. Ideal for rough surfaces and heavy pieces.
- Raku Tongs, stainless steel, with ring jaws for round vessels: high-quality version made of rust-proof stainless steel, specially designed for safely gripping round vessels. The ring jaws evenly enclose the workpiece and prevent pressure marks.

- Length: approx. 100 – 120 cm (depending on model)
- Handle: ergonomically shaped, non-slip
- Gripping area: serrated (galvanized) / ring-shaped (stainless steel)
