Sibelco WMS 2502 – Stoneware clay with spots (10 kg)
This chamotte stoneware clay from Sibelco contains a 25% chamotte grain content of 0–0.2 mm. . During firing at around 1150 °C, decorative spots appear, resulting in a cream-colored base tone with dark speckles in high-temperature firing. The effect creates vibrant surfaces that are particularly effective on vessels and sculptures. Packaging unit: 10 kg.
Characteristics
The mass has a drying shrinkage of approximately 4.9% and a firing shrinkage of also 4.9% at 1200 °C. The water absorption rate is approximately 3.5%. A firing range between 1000 °C and 1280 °C is recommended. ; the sintering temperature is 1,210 °C .
