PYROTEC stainless steel tripod

Pyrotec stainless steel tripods are a practical firing aid for any kiln at temperatures up to 1250 °C. They create the necessary distance, ensure optimal air circulation, and prevent glazes or ceramics from sticking to the kiln plates. Robust, heat-resistant, and easy to handle, they allow you to fire your pieces safely and cleanly.

During firing, typically only three small support points remain visible, which are easily removed. The load-bearing capacity of the firing aids is significantly influenced by weight, heating speed, and final temperature. Stainless steel tripods are particularly resistant to scale buildup up to 1150 °C. However, flat pieces such as tiles or plates may warp if the clay is fired at its maximum firing temperature. We recommend testing their use in your own kiln.
