Nabertherm peephole in the kiln door for front-loading kilns
The peephole in the kiln door lets you look into the firing chamber without opening the door. This way you can watch the firing, check how the glaze behaves or see the state of your pyrometric cones, without letting the kiln cool down or losing heat. The peephole has an inner diameter of 15 mm and is installed in the kiln door at the factory, so please order it together with a new kiln. Retrofitting is not possible.
Does it fit my kiln?
The peephole is available for the five-sided heated front-loading kilns with a door:
- N series front-loading kilns, N 100 to N 660, each also H
- NW series front-loading kilns, NW 150 to NW 660, each also H
It is not intended for the entire NE series or for the top-loaders, the fusing and glass kilns and the RAKU kiln.
Good to know
- Inner diameter 15 mm, for watching the firing without heat loss
- Installed in the kiln door at the factory, please order together with a new kiln
- Ideal for checking glaze flow and pyrometric cones during the firing
