Nabertherm exhaust air flap for chamber furnaces and fusing furnaces, manual or motorized
The exhaust air flap ensures controlled ventilation of the furnace chamber and targeted, faster cooling. For ceramics, this shortens process times; for fusing and glass bending, the cooling phase is decisive for the result. The flap is installed in the furnace roof or hood at the factory; please order it together with a new furnace. Retrofitting is not intended.
Manual or motorized?
- Motorized: opens and closes automatically, controlled via the extra function of the AC590 controller. This allows even complex processes to run fully automatically. For chamber furnaces, the flap is always motorized.
- Manual: opened and closed by hand, the more cost-effective solution. Only available for fusing furnaces of the GF series.

Good to know
- Installed in the furnace roof or hood at the factory, please order together with a new furnace
- The motorized version is controlled via the AC590 controller and is programmable
- For chamber furnaces NW 440 and NW 660, the motorized exhaust air flap is already included as standard
- Not available for top-loaders, the NE series, the RAKU furnace, or the glass bead annealing furnace
- Also applies to associated versions such as GF 75/R and GF 190 LE
Delivery
All prices include packaging and transport insurance. Delivery takes place together with the ordered furnace free of charge.
