Kittec Type S Thermocouple
The Kittec Type S thermocouple enables precise temperature recording in the high-temperature range, making it a central component for controlled ceramic firing. Especially in Raku or standard kiln operation, exact temperature measurement ensures reproducible results and optimal glaze flow.
Type S thermocouples are designed for particularly high temperatures and are characterized by their reliability and durability. They are ideal for demanding applications in ceramic kilns.
The thermocouple is also part of the Raku complete package from Kittec. A matching temperature display is available here.

- Maximum temperature: up to 1440°C
- Design: open contacts or with aluminum head
- Various lengths available
Available variants:
- Single thermocouple with open contacts: 100 mm, 120 mm, 135 mm, 170 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm, 350 mm, 500 mm
- Single thermocouple with aluminum head: 125 mm, 200 mm, 320 mm
- Double thermocouple: 310 mm length

The variant with open contacts is suitable for direct installation in existing systems. Models with an aluminum head offer additional protection and more convenient connection. The double thermocouple allows for even more precise control through parallel measurement.
