KITTEC Kiln Construction & Repair Material
Four proven materials for self-construction, repair, or re-insulation of kilns: fiber mat, calcium silicate insulation board, high-temperature cement, and high-temperature modeling compound. All materials are heat-resistant and designed for continuous use in kiln construction.
Fiber Mat
Available by the meter in two temperature classes: 1200 °C, ceramic fiber-free for standard use, and 1430 °C for particularly high temperature ranges. Width 610 mm, thickness 25 mm. Suitable for re-insulating kiln walls, lids, or as a seal.
CaSi Insulation Board
Calcium silicate board, temperature-resistant up to 1050 °C, format 1220 x 1000 x 20 mm (1.22 m²). Dimensionally stable and easy to process – suitable for back walls, floors, and as an additional insulation layer behind firebricks.
High-Temperature Cement
Fireproof up to 1500 °C, in 1 kg containers or as a small 100 g portion for spot repairs. Limited shelf life (approx. 3 months) – please only order the amount you can use in the near future.
High-Temperature Modeling Compound
310 ml cartridge, fireproof up to 1500 °C. Practical for small repairs, joints, and cracks in the lining area, can be applied directly from a caulking gun.
