KITTEC Heating Coil Support – Support Tube & Lead-through Tube
Two components that are almost always needed together when replacing or rebuilding heating coils: the heating coil support tube, on which the heating coil rests freely and is guided, and the lead-through tube, through which the heating coil is safely insulated as it passes through the kiln wall.
Lead-through Tube
Dimensions Ø10/6.2 x 45 mm, temperature resistant up to 800 °C. Universally applicable to all KITTEC kilns with freely guided heating coils.
Heating Coil Support Tube
Made of sillimanite, sold by the meter – you order exactly the length you need. The appropriate diameter depends on the model series:
- Ø15 mm – for smaller heating coil cross-sections.
- Ø20 mm – standard dimension for CT, XT, SQF, and K series.
- Ø25 mm and Ø30 mm – for stronger heating coils in larger kilns.
Not sure which diameter fits your kiln? The existing heating coil or the old support tube is usually sufficient as a reference.
