Amaco PCF-75 Moss Mist
Moss Mist from Amaco’s Potter’s Choice Flux series is a glossy glaze in cream with green marbling. When applied more heavily, it develops a peach-colored float and breaks beautifully over textured surfaces.
The glaze is excellent for layering—using it as either a base or a top coat—and looks beautiful on any clay body. Moss Mist is very fluid even at Cone 5 and becomes even more fluid at Cone 6, which gives it its vibrant, dynamic appearance.
Moss Mist opens up a wide range of creative possibilities, especially when combined with other Potter’s Choice, Celadon, and Shino glazes from Amaco. More information about the series: AMACO Potter's Choice Flux (PCF) glazes.

Application
- Apply 3 even coats to Cone 04 bisque, allowing it to dry between coats
- Brushing glaze, apply with a brush
- The glaze is highly fluid, so apply sparingly and use fewer or thinner coats near the foot
- Ideal for layering (combining multiple glazes), compatible with Potter’s Choice, Celadon, and Shino glazes; test combinations on a test piece first
- Due to natural fluctuations in raw materials, always fire a test piece with every new batch number
- Shake well and stir thoroughly before use
