Amaco PCF-18 Honeydew

Honeydew from Amaco's Potter's Choice Flux series is a glossy, pale pastel green, named after the honeydew melon. When applied more thickly, it develops a peach-colored float and breaks beautifully over textured surfaces.

The glaze is excellent for layering—using it as either a base or top coat—and looks beautiful on any clay color. The result depends on the firing temperature: at Cone 5, the glaze remains more stable, while at Cone 6, it becomes more fluid.

Honeydew thus offers diverse creative design possibilities, especially in combination with other Amaco Potter's Choice, Celadon, and Shino glazes. More information on the series: AMACO Potter's Choice Flux (PCF) glazes.

With over 300 colors in our range, it can happen that a shade is occasionally out of stock. The Formwerk difference: you don't have to search in multiple shops, wait for a service response, or accept any extra costs. Ceramic glazes are raw materials for ceramic processing and must be used and fired according to the manufacturer's instructions. Results may vary depending on the clay, firing curve, and kiln atmosphere. We recommend conducting your own firing tests under your specific studio conditions before application.
