Amaco Potter’s Choice Flambé PC-71
Flambé from Amaco’s Potter’s Choice series is a copper-red glaze with additional purple and blue tones. It achieves the same results in oxidation as a classic reduction copper glaze and breaks clearly on edges or when applied thinly.
Like all PC glazes from Amaco, Flambé requires a specific application thickness for the correct glaze color. Different application thicknesses lead to different results; the sample tiles in the product images show results with varying layer thicknesses.
The glaze combines well with other Potter’s Choice glazes as well as over AMACO Celadon glazes, opening up a wide range of creative design possibilities. More information on the series: Amaco Potter's Choice series

Processing
- For best results, apply 3 coats; do not thin the glaze (see also the note on the jar)
- Brushing glaze, application with a brush
- Easily combined with other Potter’s Choice glazes and over Celadon glazes; test combinations on a sample piece beforehand
- Different application thicknesses create different effects; we recommend creating your own sample tiles under your own firing conditions
- Shake well and stir thoroughly before use
