Amaco Potter’s Choice Frosted Turquoise PC-28
Frosted Turquoise from Amaco’s Potter’s Choice series is an opaque, grey-blue glaze that appears to crackle visually over deep blue, while maintaining a smooth, satin-like surface. This makes it a detailed surface decoration particularly suitable for subtle, simple shapes.
Like all Amaco PC glazes, Frosted Turquoise requires a specific application thickness for the correct glaze color; a heavy application is particularly beneficial for the color-break effect. Different application thicknesses lead to different results; the sample tiles in the product images show results at different layer thicknesses.
The AMACO PC glazes can be easily combined with each other and with AMACO Celadon glazes, opening up diverse creative design possibilities. More information about the series: Amaco Potter's Choice series

Application
- 2 to 3 coats are recommended; AMACO recommends 3 coats (see also instructions on the jar), heavy application recommended for color break
- Brushing glaze, application with a brush
- The shade may vary due to iron vapor from neighboring pieces in the kiln
- Easy to combine with other Potter’s Choice and over Celadon glazes; test combinations in advance on a sample piece
- Different application thicknesses produce different effects; creating your own sample tiles under your own firing conditions is recommended
- Shake well and stir thoroughly before use
