Amaco Potter’s Choice Arctic Blue PC-21
Arctic Blue from Amaco’s Potter’s Choice series is a beautiful, opaque light blue with a smooth, even finish. Over textures, the glaze breaks into a light tan, creating subtle, iridescent accents.
Like all Amaco PC glazes, Arctic Blue requires a specific application thickness to achieve the correct glaze color; a generous application is particularly beneficial. Different application thicknesses lead to varying results; the sample tiles in the product images show results at different layer thicknesses.
The glaze is very well-suited for layering and can be easily combined with other Potter’s Choice glazes as well as over AMACO Celadon glazes, offering diverse creative design possibilities. More information on the series: Amaco Potter's Choice Series

Application
- 2 to 3 coats are recommended; AMACO recommends 3 coats (see instructions on the jar), a generous application is recommended
- Brushing glaze, apply with a brush
- Very easy to layer and combine with other Potter’s Choice and over Celadon glazes; test combinations on a sample piece beforehand
- Different application thicknesses create different effects; creating your own sample tiles under your own firing conditions is recommended
- Shake well and stir thoroughly before use
