Sibelco stoneware clay W2510 - standard white (10kg)
This light-firing stoneware clay was specially developed for plastic shaping. It contains 25% grog with a grain size of 0–1 mm, which gives the clay stability and makes it easily malleable. After firing, the color ranges from light cream to light gray – ideal for natural surfaces or as a base for glazes.
Characteristics
The drying shrinkage is approximately 5%, and the firing shrinkage at 1200 °C is around 4.5%. The clay absorbs approximately 3.5% water at 1200 °C. The sintering temperature is 1250 °C, and the firing range extends from 1000 °C to 1280 °C. The product is offered in 10 kg units.
