PYROTEC Thermoreflex granules – 3L bag

PYROTEC Thermoreflex Granules are heat-resistant, non-combustible special granules for improving temperature distribution in kilns. They are simply sprinkled into the kiln floor, providing an efficient alternative to the costly retrofitting of underfloor heating.

Thanks to its reflective and heat-storing properties, the granules ensure a more even heat distribution. Practical tests show that temperature differences in kilns without bottom heating could be reduced from up to 40°C to only about 15°C (glaze firing at 1250°C). At the same time, the cooling time is slightly longer due to the increased heat storage.

  • Material: >90% calcium hexaaluminate, <10% aluminum oxide
  • Grain size: approx. 3–6 mm
  • Bag: 3 liters
  • Recommended filling level: approx. 2 cm
  • Safety: not a hazardous substance or mixture according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (GHS)
