The glaze gives ceramic work a buttery-soft feel, breaks slightly over edges and reliefs, and highlights surface textures in a classic Art Deco style.

The glazes in the Satin Matte series are characterized by their velvety surface and are 100% intermixable. Because they are pigment-based, they can be combined like paints to create completely unique shades and hues. SM-24 Seafoam provides gentle, fresh color accents and pairs perfectly with the other tones in the series.

Features

Manufacturer: Amaco

Series: Satin Matte (SM)

Color code: SM-24

Name: Seafoam

Content: 472 ml

Color: Light turquoise / seafoam green-blue

Glaze type: Stoneware glaze / brushing glaze

Finish: Satin-matte

100% intermixable for custom color creations

Highlights reliefs and textures by breaking slightly over edges

Suitable for spray application (safe when used with a compressor)

Food safe when fired

Application

Apply 2 to 3 even coats to bisque fired at Cone 04, allowing to dry between coats

Brushing glaze, apply with a brush

Intermixable with other Satin Matte glazes

Due to raw material variations, it is recommended to fire test tiles before using any new batch number

Shake well and stir thoroughly before use

Technical Data

Firing range: approx. 1186 °C to 1222 °C (Cone 5 to 6)

Suitable for stoneware firing

Questions?

We are always available to answer your questions.
